Math isn’t just about learning to add and subtract — it’s so much more. It includes problem-solving, critical thinking, and even logic, which are key skills for both math and life! For many of our kids, math can be a challenge. That’s why we’ve put together a list of math programs, curricula, websites, assistive technology, universal tools, and apps to support your child in reaching their math goals.
Math resources and curriculum materials
Inclusive Access to a Diploma: Provides teachers with lots of ideas for accessible math instruction that maintains the rigor of the state standards. This includes teaching guides that contain suggestions for alternative means of expression, such as using assistive technology to write equations or draw graphs.

Not all students learn at the same pace, and adaptive learning tools provide a way to tailor instruction to their individual needs. Programs like ones below are built to assess skill levels and adjust lessons accordingly. This personalization helps students to advance at their own pace, reinforcing the building blocks of skills while providing new information at the right time.
IXL Math: Recommended by an educational therapist, it helps students learn at their own pace with adaptive questions that adjust to the right level of difficulty.
